No drying of the 316L material is necessary before printing.
Ultrafuse® 316L filament should be stored at 15 - 25°C in the original sealed package in a clean and dry environment.
Products have a minimum shelf life of 12 months when recommended storage conditions are met.
Ultrafuse® 316L is a metal-polymer composite filament for the production of Type 316L stainless steel metal components using standard FFF printing systems and a subsequent industry-standard separation and sintering process.
The filament has a non-slip surface, allowing its application with any Bowden or direct drive extruder. Its high flexibility allows it to move through complex systems to transport filament into any printer.
Recommended:
Use the filament in a well-ventilated area or use professional ventilation systems. For further and more detailed information, please refer to the relevant Material Safety Data Sheets.
